When it comes to birthdays, Christmases, and Valentine’s Day presents, it can be difficult to buy suitable gifts. Perhaps the person for whom you are buying the presents is relatively new to your life, and you are yet to find out their likes and dislikes, or maybe, the person is particularly fussy and is consequently extremely difficult to buy for, nothing you choose suits their own particular style and they frequently turn their noses up at your gifts.
We have all been there: the partner who asks for something special, or who asks for something that is meaningful, rather than practical – that is a particularly hard stipulation to satisfy an impractical present? Perhaps they would like a broken phone. On the other hand, maybe they would appreciate a two-wheeled car. The request of a non-practical gift is so vague as to be nonsensical.
Well, good news, we have found the perfect present, it is meaningful, has very little practical application, and you can buy the same present year in and year out, without appearing unthoughtful: truth jewellery.
Under the umbrella term of truth jewellery, you will find charm bracelets, and charm necklaces. Charm bracelets and necklaces begin as simple items of jewellery, with mechanisms along the chains, which enable new charms to be added. When they are bought, they are either entirely plain, or come with one or two charms.
Truth charms are so called because they represent a truthful relationship between the giver and the bearer. The beauty of these bracelets and necklaces lies not only in their face value, but also in the underlying messages. Each charm has a different meaning, and depending on the emotion you want to express to the person for whom you are buying the gift, you can choose a truth charm that suits.
Moreover, for those of us who find it difficult to buy presents for our loved ones because we simply have no idea as to the sorts of gifts they would appreciate, truth jewellery is perfect. Every occasion – birthdays, Christmases, christenings, births, Valentine’s Day, or just a Wednesday – a new charm can be bought. If you are the type of person who frequently gets in trouble for buying the wrong gifts (for instance, on one occasion, a friend was bought a set of weighing scales as a present from her boyfriend, and, needless to say, they were not well received!) then truth charms are a good choice.
If you purchase your loved one such items of jewellery, you will never be stuck for ideas again, simply add to the bracelet or necklace, not only will the gesture be well appreciated, you will not have to trudge around the shops looking for that perfect (not practical) present.
